During his time on earth Jesus, the Son of God preached the Good News of the kingdom of God, healed the sick and cast out demons. Jesus did so many miracles, John 21:25 says the world would not have enough room for all the books that would be written. Yet only thirty-six of Jesus’ miracles are recorded in the Gospels. This shows the Gospel writers, inspired by the Holy Spirit recorded that number for a specific purpose. An examination of the thirty-six miracles will reveal what that purpose was and what it reveals about Jesus, his miracles and his healings and how they apply to us today.

‘Jesus Heals’ examines all the miracles he performed in thirty-six separate chapters. Each miracle reveals different aspects of the kingdom of God and the variety of ways in which Jesus performed his healings, signs and wonders. It shows the levels of faith and the different ways with which people came to Jesus for healing and will inspire us to approach him in faith for our healing today. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. As we read the word of God and as we hear it and take it into our hearts, our souls and our bodies, it is spirit and it is life to us and it heals us.

For pastors, each chapter in the book can be used as a sermon. Some miracles and healings can be put together for a talk or series of talks. The book ends with a summary of the miracles. After looking at Jesus’ miracles you may form your own conclusions. I pray that as you read this book, you will be healed even before you finish this book.
